Carrier Certification Timeline

Carrier lab testing and approval timelines are controlled by each carrier. Typical certification cycles range from 8-16 weeks depending on the carrier and module complexity. Expedited timelines are not available for all carriers. Our 60% faster claim is based on pre-certification documentation packages — not guaranteed carrier processing time.

Custom Firmware Limitations

Custom firmware development is available for orders exceeding 5,000 units annually. Firmware modifications are limited to the application layer — baseband firmware and radio stack are not customer-modifiable due to regulatory certification constraints. Custom builds require 6-10 weeks lead time and a separate validation cycle.

AirVantage Platform Constraints

The AirVantage cloud platform supports up to 10 million devices per tenant. OTA update campaigns are rate-limited to 50,000 concurrent sessions to prevent network congestion. Customers requiring on-premises deployment of the management platform should contact our enterprise sales team — cloud-only is the standard offering.
